My name is Chris Blevins and I've been in love with cameras as long as I can remember. I started collecting old cameras at a young age. I was interested in how they worked and snapped that photo. My dad gave me his 1979 Minolta XG-1 when I was 13 and I haven't stopped taking pictures. It was a film camera which taught me the fundementals of photography. Film photography is an artform that I still practice today. I always have a Canon T2i dslr that I shoot all my digital photos and videos. I love this camera and I love the simplicity of digital photography. You can snap a picture and throw it on your computer and see what you've taken right away. Film is what I learned on so it holds a place in my heart. Polaroid photography is something that I've only been doing for about two years, and I always love the outcome. I love that I can snap a picture and see what I shot on a negative. Film is something that I hope will never die. There something about shooting a roll of film and developing it right away. You see the negatives and you think there is only one of these frames that exists. If that frame get destroyed than its gone forever. Film has stood the test of time and I will continue to keep it alive.
